CORA Services is a non-profit agency located in Northeast Philadelphia. CORA's mission is to assist youth, children, and families experiencing emotional, academic, and social challenges which impede their development and productivity.  CORA provides this assistance throughout the greater Philadelphia area. This individual functions within a multi-disciplinary team and provides remedial and consultative services to identified children who are within the 3-5 age range.


  • To provide remedial and consultative services to children within their daytime pre-school setting consistent with professional standards.
  • Encourage the child to acquire developmental skills, cognitive and/or social skills based upon pre-set goals listed in the child's Individualized Education Plan.
  • Provide corrective action suggestions and support to child's family and preschool setting in regards to Special Instruction goals and routines.
  • Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, including but not limited to Individualized Education Plan Review meetings, consultative meetings, parent meetings etc.
  • To perform other professional functions as defined by CORA administrative/supervisory staff.



  1. Establish and maintain an appropriate schedule that accommodates service frequencies for all assigned students.
  2. Monitor educational growth with established goals as identified in the child's Individualized Education Plan.
  3. Make appropriate referrals for service changes as needed.
  4. Maintain documentation and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time including, electronic and hard copy billing, progress monitoring, team/parent correspondence, agency mandated paperwork etc.
  5. Meet with School Services Administrator and Education Director as needed.
  6. Attend staff meetings as needed.


Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Education and Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood.

Preferred: Master's Degree in Education with Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate or appropriate licensure.

Solid working knowledge of the field.

Salary $38,250-$43,875
