CORA Services is a non-profit agency located in Northeast Philadelphia. CORA's mission is to assist youth, children, and families experiencing emotional, academic, and social challenges which impede their development and productivity.  CORA provides this assistance throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

 

SUMMARY:  The PCA  Coordinator works alongside of the School Services Administrator to ensure continuity and quality in PCA services within schools. This includes regular site visits, administrative supervisory functions, team work with PCAs and the management team at CORA and the ability to work one on one with an individual child in the event a PCA is unable to provide support. Fostering a sense of pride, commitment and mission in the work provided within schools, the PCA Coordinator must exemplify professionalism, organization and reliability. A "can do" attitude is a must within this role.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work with School Services Administrator to hire, train, and supervise Personal Care Assistants (PCA). 
  • Coordinate all aspects of service delivery, partnering with the appropriate agency support departments as needed.
  • Create and maintain appropriate employee schedules for each client served. 
  • Manage staffing expectations by developing strong substitution base to cover any callouts that may occur, and stepping in to provide coverage as needed. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the School Services Administrator. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years' experience in the behavioral health field
  • 1 year administrative experience
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay rate:  $17.00 - $18.00
