CORA Services is a non-profit agency located in Northeast Philadelphia. CORA's mission is to assist youth, children, and families experiencing emotional, academic, and social challenges which impede their development and productivity.  CORA provides this assistance throughout the greater Philadelphia area.  We are currently searching for a Level 1 Service Desk Technician to join our IT Department.

The CORA IT Department supports all technologies for the organization, from core infrastructure to endpoints. As part of our nimble team, this entry-level opportunity will provide robust exposure to a wide range of technologies, in addition to performing first level support on a daily basis.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to Trouble Tickets and Requests through our web based ticketing system
  • Windows Workstation Imaging, Configuration and Deployments
  • User Account Moves / Adds / Changes
  • Software Installations, Configuration and Troubleshooting
  • Printer Maintenance and Support
  • VOIP Phone Maintenance and Support
  • Inventory Management
  • Documentation and Procedures

 

Familiarity with the following technologies is a plus, but not required (on the job training may be provided as needed):

  • VMWare
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • MS Office 365 Administration
  • MS Intune Mobile Device Management
  • Meraki Networking and Security Appliances
  • ISP and Modems
  • Datto Backup
  • 8x8 VOIP Phone System

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and documentation
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and visitors
  • Highly motivated to learn new technologies and procedures

Hours:

Daily Schedule is from 8:00AM 4:00PM

This position includes some "On Call" time and after hours work for projects and events

 

Pay range:  $16.70 - $18.85
