Provide intervention counseling services as well as resource management services to adolescents, children and their family members with pre-clinical concerns related to use of or exposure to alcohol or other drugs. Sign on Bonus of $1,000 ($500 when hired, $500 after 4 months)

  1. Provide individual, group and family intervention counseling in Agency or approved schools/ homes/alternate sites where appropriate.
  2. Assess level of service need with families, develop and implement family-focused service plans, and initiate and facilitate appropriate referrals for clients as needed; advocate with and for clients for access to appropriate level of care placements and other agency support services.
  3. Provide additional supports to clients through resource management contacts/activities; identify and connect clients to resources and supports in their communities; maintain an awareness of community resources and facilitate client/family access to appropriate resources and services necessary to support/ supplement direct services and recovery action.
  4. Establish key relationships in targeted and identified communities and engage in community outreach activities.
Master's level Degree in the helping professions and documented experience in treatment or intervention counseling service required; education/experience in family systems intervention/service essential; working knowledge of delinquency prevention concepts and the effects of substance use essential; one year experience in youth service setting preferred
