CORA Services is a non-profit agency whose mission is to assist youth, children, and families experiencing emotional, academic, and social challenges which impede their development and productivity.  CORA provides this assistance throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

 

CORA is currently seeking a Clinical Director for its IBHS services.  The Clinical Director is responsible for the development, planning and supervision of the clinical aspects of the service delivery system for the Intensive Behavioral Health Services program, in cooperation with the Managing Director, Clinical Services.

 

Working as the Clinical Director at CORA, you will:

  • Oversee all aspects of operations including service delivery, policy/procedure development/updates, contract compliance, OMHSAS licensing compliance, quality assurance, and record keeping; ensure that all funding mandates and reporting requirements are met in accordance with the agency's mission, goals, values and philosophy.
  • Partner with Human Resources to hire, onboard and train qualified staff.
  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision for staff assigned to IBHS Services.
  • Supervise documentation, clinical accountability, and record-keeping for client cases active in IBHS programs.
  • Provide/maintain active outreach, engagement and liaison services to clients and family members at all levels of care.
  • Assist with planning and monitoring the budget of the IBHS Services program in conjunction with the Managing Director and Finance Department and related personnel.
  • Collaborate with other Clinical Services Division and Agency staff in such areas as program development/management, service coordination, in-service training, etc.
  • Assist families as they navigate systems of care and provide supportive resources for client and family members.
  • Facilitate regulatory compliance audit processes appropriate for these services.
  • Implement and collaborate with the Community Behavioral Health, School District of Philadelphia and Charter Schools to ensure seamless care coordination process.
  • Facilitate service for unassigned emergency/crisis clients as appropriate.
  • Remain current on existing and emerging laws, regulations and guidelines affecting IBHS services.
  • Collect and be knowledgeable of data, trends and best practices in the field; identify opportunities to incorporate best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Participate in the design, implementation and utilization of an agency-wide client management/outcomes measurement system; champion the use of data to drive programmatic, process and system improvement.
  • Participate in all necessary interdisciplinary functions and meetings.
  • Adhere to training/licensure requirements established by Agency or other regulatory entities.

 

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

  • Masters' level degree required
  • PA Licensure in Psychology
  • BCBA a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years delivering mental health direct services to children, youth and young adults.
  • 2 - 5 years supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated program and contract management skills.
  • Proven ability to supervise and manage staff.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff members, clients, community members and personnel from other agencies.
  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality.
  • Ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
