CORA Services, a mission-driven organization located in Northeast Philadelphia, provides an array of services to children, youth and families who are experiencing emotional, academic and social challenges which impede their development and productivity. We are seeking a strong, detail-orientated front desk Receptionist. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of CORA Services, which includes valuing all individuals, supporting the individual's potential for growth, and enhancing a programmatic service system approach.
  • Maintain a calm, welcoming environment that is conducive to receiving services and maintains confidentiality.
  • Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to callers; answer, screen and transfer calls using a multi-line phone system.
  • Greet and promptly assist all clients and visitors; check-in clients and inform service provider of client's arrival.
  • Maintain up-to-date client appointment book and room schedules.
  • Prepare intake packets, assist new clients with completing forms, and provide completed intake paperwork to service providers.
  • Accept payments for services rendered and prepare daily deposit record.
  • Maintain security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Anticipate and address client/visitor concerns before they escalate.
  • Ensure reception desk and lobby are tidy and presentable.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing or processing mail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma/GED required.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • 3+ years of office experience required; receptionist experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and problem solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and visitors.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Schedule: Mon-Thur 8:00-12:00, Fri 8:00-1:00. 21 hours total. 

Salary: $13.50-$15.50
