CORA is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for its Early Childhood Program on the campus of LaSalle University.

CORA Services is a non-profit agency whose mission is to assist youth, children, and families experiencing emotional, academic, and social challenges which impede their development and productivity. CORA provides this assistance throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

Working as an Administrative Assistant with CORA, you will:

  • Provide consistent presence at the Center entrance, greeting and welcoming parents, students, and ensuring sign-in/out procedures are followed accordingly, especially during critical drop off/pick up times
  • Greet visitors, distribute Visitor Badges, and provide tours for potential families in the absence of the Early Years Director
  • Keep Early Years Director informed and updated on day to day activity in the Center
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate parties
  • Assist Early Years teachers with administrative tasks as needed
  • Assist in classrooms to ensure proper student ratio to cover for teacher breaks, lunches, as needed
  • Maintain data on Early Years students in appropriate databases/systems, and process reports as needed
  • Maintain professional communications with families and staff
  • Participate professionally and collaboratively with all staff members to promote the general well-being of the Early Years program
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to the Center

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years' experience in data entry and/or administrative work (minimum typing speed of 60 wpm)
  • Knowledge of computerized clerical systems required
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff members, clients, visitors and families
