CORA Services is a non-profit agency whose mission is to assist youth, children, and families experiencing emotional, academic, and social challenges which impede their development and productivity. CORA provides this assistance throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

CORA is currently seeking Teachers to work in non-public schools throughout the city of Philadelphia.

Working as a Teacher with CORA, you will:

  • Provide remedial, diagnostic and consultative services to students, parents, school and CORA personnel.
  • Instruct pupils in groups, for 25 periods of instruction per week, with a minimum average caseload of 65 students yearly.
  • Adhere to agency guidelines and requirements concerning caseload management and accountability.
  • Participate in all necessary inter-disciplinary functions, including regular meetings.
  • Establish appropriate groups and schedule instructional time.
  • Monitor educational growth with established objectives as identified on student's Learning Plan.
  • Make appropriate referrals for children needing additional services.
  • Generate reports as required.

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

  • Bachelor's degree from a certifiable teaching program.
  • Pennsylvania teachers certificate in Elementary Education, Reading Specialist, Math or Special Education.
  • Solid working knowledge of the field.

Salary: BA level--$40,500 MA level--$42,750 (Salary increases based on additional credentials and experience)
