CORA Services is a non-profit agency whose mission is to assist youth, children, and families experiencing emotional, academic, and social challenges which impede their development and productivity. CORA provides this assistance throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

CORA is currently seeking Speech Therapists to work in non-public schools throughout the city of Philadelphia.


Working as a Speech Therapist with CORA, you will:

  • Provide screening and diagnostic services to students; to communicate student's speech and language status and needs to parents, appropriate school personnel, CORA school teams
  • Deliver weekly, thirty minute therapy sessions, individually or in a small group; to a minimum of 65 students weekly.
  • Plan classroom intervention and collaboration for a pre-determined length of time when specific speech and language needs are identified.
  • Adhere to, and be accountable for, all program and agency guidelines and requirements concerning caseload management.
  • Participate in all required speech and language program functions, including regularly scheduled staff meetings, caseload consultations, professional development, etc.
  • Select, administer, score and interpret appropriate diagnostic measures.
  • Write and implement therapy goals; create objectives and benchmarks; collect data
  • Create and/or source appropriate therapy tools and materials
  • Formulate student caseload, create and share daily and weekly therapy schedules.
  • Make appropriate referrals beyond CORA's scope of service
  • Write diagnostic, progress and final reports.
  • Complete all aspects of caseload management and service delivery.

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

  • A.M.S./M.Ed. in Speech Pathology, Communication Sciences, or Speech and Language Services in the Schools
  • PA DOE School Certification.
