CORA Services is seeking a dedicated Managing Director, School Services to be a part of its School Services team.

The Managing Director of School Services is chiefly responsible for ensuring the School Services Division provides innovative and impactful services across disciplines and associated contracts. This position has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the development, planning and implementation of the programs/services offered through the School Services Division.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF MANAGING DIRECTOR OF SCHOOL SERVICES:

  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of CORA Services, which includes valuing all individuals, supporting the individual's potential for growth, and enhancing a pragmatic service system approach.
  • Provide leadership and management for all School Services offered by CORA.
  • Directly supervises the Director of Program Operations and Directors of Psychology, Counseling, Education, Speech & Language, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy; ensure high-quality service, contract compliance, and efficient operations
  • Oversee all aspects of division operations including service enhancements and delivery, policy/procedure development/updates, contract compliance, quality assurance, and record keeping; ensure that all funding mandates and reporting requirements are met in accordance with the agency's mission, goals, values and philosophy.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for each contract/program, in collaboration with the Chief Finance Officer.
  • Establish management practices that support positive relationships and promote a high level of staff morale, motivation and collaboration.
  • Communicate and collaborate with senior staff and support departments regarding division services and operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with, and be the main liaison to all School Services funding partners, program partners, schools principals and administrators, and other agencies and community groups in order to facilitate agency service goals and remain informed of developments outside of the agency. Partner with Chief Program Officer and other senior staff to pursue opportunities to launch, expand and strengthen school services program offerings.
  • Remain current on existing and emerging laws, regulations and guidelines affecting services.
  • Collect and be knowledgeable of data, trends and best practices in the field; identify opportunities to incorporate best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Establish and monitor goals and objectives that are responsive to the changing needs of the community and are consistent with agency mission, goals and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in the design, implementation and utilization of an agency-wide client management/outcomes measurement system; champion the use of data to drive programmatic, process and system improvement.
  • Contribute to the preparation of program proposals/grant applications and review and negotiation of contracts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Program Officer, as needed.

MANAGING DIRECTOR, SCHOOL SERVICES EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree in a related field required (Psychology, Speech, School Counseling and/or Education)

MANAGING DIRECTOR, SCHOOL SERVICES EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience with the delivery of related services within a Pennsylvania Department of Education school system
  • 2-3 years of experience coaching and leading supervisory staff.
  • Solid understanding of programs offered in the division
  • Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of current and emerging laws and regulations related to services
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the agency, as well as representatives from funding partners, relevant regulatory bodies, other agencies and community groups.
