Administrative Assistant/ Good Shepherd Mediation

At CORA Good Shepherd Mediation, we aim to encourage peace, reconciliation, and social justice by equipping communities with the tools to transform conflict and repair harm. The Administrative Assistant provides key receptionist and clerical support to all programs. This is a flexible role of remote and in-person work, with the latter being less frequent unless otherwise preferred. 30-hour/week role, with hours Monday - Friday 9AM - 3PM.


Working as an GSM Administrative Assistant with CORA, you will:

  • • Monitor and answer phone calls, emails, and web submissions about GSM services
  • • Draft and distribute emails and memos on behalf of GSM
  • • Schedule virtual and in-person services using Microsoft Outlook and other software
  • • Prepare office space or Zoom space for client appointments, and assist with notetaking as needed
  • • Collect and file client documents and information
  • • Collect and file volunteer clearances and information
  • • Update and maintain records, spreadsheets, and case logs
  • • Maintain overall upkeep of office files and supplies
  • • Run administrative errands as needed (picking up mail, ordering food, etc.)
  • • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors

The GSM Administrative Assistant Pay rate: starting at $17.25/hour (increases based on experience and credentials)

Good Shepherd Mediation Administrative Assistant Educational Requirements:

  • • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualified GSM Administrative Assistant Candidates Should Possess:

  • • Minimum of 3 years of experience with administrative and receptionist work
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using Zoom, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)
  • • Ability to quickly and proficiently adapt to new software and technology
  • • Minimum of 1 year of experience with data entry and recordkeeping
  • • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • • Excellent interpersonal, written and conversational skills; including comfort with making brief announcements or introductions to large groups
  • • Physical ability to move chairs and small tables
  • • Candidate with Spanish proficiency preferred
  • • Candidate with valid driver's license and car preferred
