At CORA Good Shepherd Mediation, we aim to encourage peace, reconciliation, and social justice by equipping communities with the tools to transform conflict and repair harm. The Eviction Diversion Program (EDP) Administrative Assistant provides key receptionist and clerical support to the nationally recognized, award-winning EDP, which is a partnership between CORA GSM, the City of Philadelphia, and several other local nonprofit organizations. This role can be conducted completely remotely (at this time), but requires availability Monday through Friday, 9-5.


Eviction Diversion Program Administrative Assistant Pay rate: starts at $18.20/hour (increases based on experience and credentials)

Working as an GSM Administrative Assistant with CORA, you will:

  • Monitor and answer phone calls and emails about EDP; direct to staff as appropriate
  • Enter data into various databases, web portals, and spreadsheets
  • Collect, file, and send (via email) post-mediation documents (reports and agreements
  • Confirm availability of volunteer mediators
  • Process all cancellations and requests to reschedule mediations
  • Update and maintain records and forms/templates
  • Schedule meetings and mediations
  • Review EDP applications
  • Collect and file volunteer clearances, contact information, and availability
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors

Good Shepherd Mediation Administrative Assistant Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualified GSM Administrative Assistant Candidates Should Possess:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with administrative and receptionist work
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Bookings),
  • Ability to quickly and proficiently adapt to new software and technology (e.g., Quickbase)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with data entry and recordkeeping
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and conversational skills
  • Candidate with some knowledge of mediation and/or landlord-tenant issues in Philadelphia preferred
