CORA Services is a non-profit agency located in Northeast Philadelphia. CORA's mission is to assist youth, children, and families experiencing emotional, academic, and social challenges which impede their development and productivity. CORA provides this assistance throughout the greater Philadelphia area.
CORA is seeking an experienced Truancy Supervisor.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise daily operations of service delivery and documentation of communication with families, school, DHS, CUA and Court personnel as applicable at each Tier.
- Provide professional supervision of Case Management staff and the support/resource activities provided by staff.
- Conduct weekly individual/group supervision meetings for direct service staff addressing professional practice and direct client work.
- Supervise documentation and accountability in accordance with professional and contractual guidelines, assign cases and monitor caseload compliance, direct crisis management and assist with ongoing staff training programs.
- Manage staff training and database compliance for funded services.
- Represent Agency/Community Services Division at relevant regulatory/funding source meetings as appropriate.
- Assist the Division Directors in such areas as program development/management, in service training, etc.
- Facilitate service for unassigned emergency/crisis clients as appropriate.
- Supervise documentation, service accountability, and record keeping for client cases active in assigned Community Services Division programs.
- Provide direct service as needed.
- Participate in all necessary interdisciplinary functions and meetings.
- Adhere to training/licensure requirements established by Agency or other regulatory entities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Master's level degree in Social Work or related field.
- Three or more years' social services experience
- At least one year supervisory experience
- Substance abuse treatment experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability in supervision/administration
