Site Director

Hours: Monday - Friday 10AM - 6PM (Year-Round)

Salary: $44,000 / year

The Program:

The out of school time hours between 3:00pm and 6:00pm are the highest risk times for youth. YouthCOR, CORA's Out of School Time programs, is dedicated to impacting the lives of children, youth and families during these critical hours. YouthCOR does this through partnering with the schools and communities to provide access to dynamic programing and new experiences for young people in many neighborhoods around Philadelphia.


What You'll Do:

The Site Director, is responsible for the general management of the program including program planning, staff supervision, coordinating and planning daily activities with the group supervisors and group leaders, and overall site management.


Working as a Site Director with CORA, you will:

  • Build impactful relationships with children, youth and families.
  • Engage students, families, and other community agencies to connect families to the program.
  • Become a pillar in the school community by building and maintaining relationships with school administration, teachers, families and other stakeholders to ensure program visibility and community support.
  • Offer high quality, fun and engaging programing in literacy, STEAM and social emotional learning.
  • Create a safe environment for all staff and students though best practices in policies and procedures.
  • Grow and Supervise passionate leaders into role models and advocates for the youth in the program

Qualified Site Director Candidates Should Possess:

  • Associates' degree with 30 credits in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field; or
  • Associates' degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field; or
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field.
